This highly evaluated event provided a reflective space to allow health and care professionals from different disciplines to connect, converse and to share stories, ideas, practical skills and resources. It offered replenishment, regenerated hope, and gave an opportunity for participants to reconnect with their deeply held values and to explore ways in which they could strengthen and sustain them in their workplace. It offered a unique opportunity to step back and reflect, and collectively plot the path ahead using the well tried and tested method of appreciative inquiry combined with creative enquiry to re-imagine futures and rehumanise systems of care. The Royal Foundation of St Katherine is a quiet sanctuary close to central London – the ideal setting for offering a nurturing, restorative event.
